Franklin Springs, GA---The visiting University of Mobile Rams scored with just 19 seconds left to play to break a 58-58 deadlock to down the Lions 60-58.

Emmanuel College trailed early to the big, physical Rams but after fighting back just before the half to knot the score at 24 the Lions used two three-pointers to claim the lead going into the break up by six at 32-26.

EC held this lead the entire second half up to the final jump shot in the paint that pushed the Rams ahead for good.  EC had two late looks to tie the game but both chances rattled in and out failing to drop for the Lions.

Luke Miller scored 17 including 5 three-pointers to pace the Lions who could count 8 different scorers on the evening.

With the loss the Lions are now 10-6 (3-3 in SSAC play).  There's little time to rest after the two weekend games versus Mobile and AUM as the Truett-McConnell Bears visit Tuesday night for an 8 pm tip-off.
