Mason, OH---Sam Buczek provided a bases-loaded, walk-off single in the bottom of the 8th inning of the Thursday morning's NCCAA World Series baseball game to down the Southeastern Fire 3-2.  The Fire had tied the game in the top of the 7th inning to force the extra innings.

The Fire had defeated EC just a week ago in the NCCAA South Region tournament and the win Thursday morning keeps the Lion's hopes to advance alive in tournament pool play.

The Lions now play New York's Nyack Thursday afternoon.

Steven Barnett scattered four Fire hits working six innings on the mound.  Ben Grillo went 2 for 3 at the plate driving in two runs while Sam Buczek also finished with two hits as well as the key RBI in extras to push the Lions ahead for good.
