Franklin Springs, GA---Kacey Alexander has been named the new softball coach at Emmanuel College. Alexander steps into the position after the retirement of Rick Sanders earlier this spring.
Alexander grew up in Landrum, SC and later played for USC-Spartanburg where she graduated with a BS in Criminal Justice while earning Peach Belt Conference and NCAA honors patrolling second base for the Rifles.
After a successful run coaching travel softball teams in the area it was just the next natural step to move into the college-level of coaching at Emmanuel.
"God has now led me to a position that I can truly say is a calling," said Coach Alexander. "With the love and support from my husband (Brad), my stepson (Chase, 10), and my daughter (Kaley, 9 months), I can't wait to embrace this wonderful opportunity I've been given. Emmanuel College has amazing core values and a Christ-centered foundation and I am honored to join the Emmanuel family in leading young women through their college careers as they set goals and work hard to achieve them. All while serving our Lord with the outstanding talents He has given us."
