Franklin Springs, GA---This past Wednesday Emmanuel College Men's Basketball signed 6'3 shooting guard Willy Akasson from Northwood Temple Academy in Fayetteville, NC.

Akasson averaged 18 points per game and 7 rebounds per game while leading the Eagles to a 26 and 11 record en route to the CCC Tournament Championship.  He also  collected 1st team All CCC honors and CCC Tournament MVP and was  also ranked #26th in North Carolina by ESPN.com .

Coach Rosene said, "I was really impressed with Willy's effort  and energy on the court, I could tell by his manners and desire that  he is going to be a great fit and a lot of fun to coach here at Emmanuel."
