Lions Shoot at National Circuit

Lions Shoot at National Circuit

PHOENIX, Az. - Rachel Reshonsky and Roger Hermosilla represented Emmanuel College at the Arizona Cup for the first time in program history. This tournament is the first one of the National Circuit, also known as the United States of America Trials. The USAT circuit decides who will represent the United States at the International level next year. This event broke the record for participation in a USA event with more than 500 shooters.

Reshonsky and Hermosilla both shot very well, especially considering the extreme desert conditions consisting of strong winds and hot weather. Reshonsky finished 39th overall in Female Recurve while Hermosilla placed 64th in Male Recurve. Competition consisted of Olympic Medalists and the current National Team.

Next up, the Archery team will compete at Outdoor Nationals in Dublin, Ohio.
