Lions Take Tough Loss to North Greenville

TIGERVILLE, S.C.—The Lions took a tough 69-66 loss to the Crusaders of North Greenville on Tuesday, November 25th

The Lions led the Crusaders by three points with four minutes left in the first half, before the Crusaders rallied back to take a 36-31 lead going into halftime.

The Crusaders had an early eight-point lead in the second half, which the Lions were able to come within one point twice with one minute left in the game. The Lion's could not take the lead though and fell to the Crusaders with the final score being 69-66.

Michael Stanley was the Lions leading scorer with 29 points. Patrick McCrary and Jeremy Burgess also put up double-digit points with 14 and 10, respectively. Stanley and McCrary also each pulled down seven rebounds for the Lions.

The Lions hit the road for Barton College, another Conference Carolinas match up on December 1st. Tip-off is set for 7:30 PM.
