Lions Fall to Pfieffer by One

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga—The Lions dropped Conference Carolina game to Pfieffer by one point on Friday night.

The game saw five ties and two lead changes, with Pfeiffer's largest lead only being of 11 points, and Emmanuel having the lead of ten at one point.

It was almost four minutes into the game before any points were on the board. Pfieffer was the first to score, and slowly gained a lead of 18-7 before the Lions came back to take the lead as 29-27 going into halftime.

The Lions tried to take control of the game and had a 51-41 lead midway through the second half. Pfeiffer tied it at 61-61 with two minutes remaining in the game. The continued to stay out front for the remainder of the game, with the Lions losing merely by one point.

Michael Stanley recorded a double-double for the Lions with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Terrance Polk and Patrick McCrary added 11 and 9 points, respectively. KurtisRobinson collected 9 rebounds.
