Lions Fight Back For Win Over Crusaders

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga.– The Lions topped the Crusaders of North Greenville 94-77 on Thursday night in an exciting come from behind win.

The Crusaders took an early 7-0 lead and were able to keep the lead the entire first half. With 9:46 left in the game, the Lions took the lead on a Kurtis Robinson defensive rebound and a Terrance Polk layup. The Lions extended their lead for the remainder of the game and got the win.

The Lions had five players with double digit points, with three of the top scorers coming off the bench.

Johan Pennerat led the Lions offensively with 23 points. Kurtis Robinson had 14 points, Terrance Polk and Michael Stanley each had 12 points and Luke Miller added 11 points. Pennerat also had five steals with two blocks, while Stanley added six rebounds and five assists.
