WINONA LAKE, IN - The Lions finished their 21-11 season with a 78-65 win against Lee University on Saturday afternoon for a third place finish in the NCCAA National Championship Tournament.
Luke Miller started the game with a three pointer, and led the Lions offensively with 17 points. With less than seven minutes left in the first half, Miller made a three to give the Lions a 26-23 lead. The Lions continued to build their lead and never allowed the Flames of Lee to close the gap.
Jeremy Burgess put up 14 points with six assists. Michael Stanley recorded 13 points and eight rebounds and two blocks. Steven Guinchard and Kurtis Robinson had 12 and 10 points, respectively. Robinson and Johan Pennerat each had five assists. Miller also had two steals. McCrary pulled down six rebounds.
