Emmanuel Finishes Ninth in Norse Classic

ERLANGER, Ky.---The Emmanuel College Bowling Team finished ninth out of eighteen teams in Erlanger, Ky. at the Norse Classic on February 8th.

The team continues to bowl solidly finishing in the middle of the pack at the Norse Classic. Strong individual performances were turned in by Cody Kleidoosty averaging over 200 and finishing 13th/164 bowlers and Angelo Centis who averaged 194 for the tournament.

Emmanuel bowled in its largest field to date with 23 teams competing in Erlanger, Ky. The Lions finished 9th with four bowlers averaging over 185 including Cody Kleisdosty (201), Angelo Centis(194),Talyor Strait (191), and Drew Crain (188). Emmanuel struggled in the Baker Format averaging just under 170 which cost them four positions. Future success will depend on continued strong individual performances. and improving in the Baker Team competitions

Cody Kleidosty 13th overall; 1009 total pins; 201.8 average
Angelo Centis 194 average
Taylor Strait 954 total pins; 191 average
Drew Crain 940 total pins; 188 average

With just two tournaments remaining, the Lions continue to move up in the National Rankings working towards a post-season bid. They will now head to Lexington to compete in the Thomas Burris Classic and then to Indianapolis to compete in the biggest tournament of the year at the Hoosier Classic. The results of these tournaments will determine post-season play.
