Men's Lacrosse Hosts Senior Day

Franklin Springs, GA - Emmanuel College Men's Lacrosse will be hosting Senior Day this Saturday as the Lions look to tame the Alabama-Huntsville Chargers. The Lions will honor its first senior class in the men's lacrosse program history with senior day festivities starting at 3:40 pm and face-off scheduled at 4:00 pm.

#3- Goalie, Alan Troutman. Alan is an Education Major from Evans, Georgia. Troutman has held a 54% Save Percentage and 602 career saves in his four years at Emmanuel, and has been named to the Conference Carolinas All-Academic Team and Presidential Honor Roll two times. Alan has accepted a job at Evans High School teaching math and coaching football and lacrosse.

#4-Attack, Justin Mills. Justin is a Sports Management major from Spartanburg, South Carolina. Mills is currently the Emmanuel College All-Time career points leader with 184 points as well as the All-Time career goals leader with 127 goals. He is also the only player in college history to score more than a 100 career goals and score 49 goals in a season. Mills was also named an SELC All-Conference Attack in 2014. Justin is pursuing a career in parks and rec.

#5- Midfield, Michael Campbell Jr. Michael is a History major from High Point, North Carolina. Campbell has 18 goals, 17 assists, and 150 groundballs in his career including a game winning goal over Brevard College. Michael will be pursuing his teacher certification in North Carolina next year where plans on teaching History and coaching lacrosse.

#13-Midfield, Tanner Smith. Tanner is a Sports Management major from Newnan, Georgia. Smith has recorded four goals in his career, and he was named to the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll this year. Smith will be using a redshirt year to play one more season at Emmanuel and finish his degree next year.

#24- Midfield, Darian Richardson.  Darian is a Business major from Duluth, Georgia. Richardson transferred to Emmanuel his junior year and he has scored 38 goals and 6 assists in his two years at EC from the midfield, including an OT game winner versus North Greenville University. Darian has made the Conference Carolinas All-Academic Team and Presidential Honor Roll two times. Darian has accepted a job as a regional manager at United Pools Management.

#26-Defense, Brandon Shouvely. Brandon is an Organizational Communications major from Great Mills, Maryland. Shouvely transferred to Emmanuel his sophomore year where he has accumulated 62 groundballs in his career and has been named to the Conference Carolinas All-Academic Team and Presidential Honor Roll two times. Brandon will be attending graduate school where he will pursue his MBA.

#30-Face-Off and LSM, Brian Little. Brian is a School of Christian Ministries major from Vero Beach, Florida. Little has contributed all over the field for the Lions in his four years by playing midfield, LSM, close defense, and face-offs where he's picked up 74 career groundballs. Brian will be pursuing a position as a youth minister after college.

#37-Defense, Zach Howe. Zach is a Business Administration major from North Vancouver, British Columbia. Howe is currently the Emmanuel College All-Time career groundball leader with 162 groundballs, he also holds the single season groundball record with 62, and he has 12 career goals and 5 assists. He made the SELC All-Conference team and he has been named to the Conference Carolinas All-Academic Team and Presidential Honor Roll two times. Zach will be attending graduate school where he will pursue his MBA.

#99-Midfield, Hevin Jackson. Hevin is a Kinesiology major from Smyrna, Georgia. Jackson transferred to Emmanuel his sophomore year where he has accumulated 18 goals, 15 assists, and 53 groundballs in his career. He was named to the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll this year. Jackson is pursuing a career in Kinesiology.
