Lions Soccer Defeat Columbia International

Columbia, SC - The Lions Soccer team traveled to Columbia International University and came home with a victory, winning 1-0. This win brings the Lions record to 3-5 for the season. 

This evening the men's soccer team played an away match against Columbia International University. Both teams battled hard the entire first half coming out both scoreless.

Going into the second half both teams still fighting to score a goal and take over the momentum of the game. As the second half began to wind down the Lions came out on top thanks to a goal by Nick Miller. The Lions win wouldn't have been possible without great defense, key saves by the goalkeeper, and Nick Miller. This win gives the Lions their third win of the season.

The Lions will be back on the field Thursday, October 6th, at North Greenville University at 6:00 p.m.
