MEN SWIMMING DEFEATS LIMESTONE 105-99

Gaffney, SC; The Lion's traveled to Gaffney, SC on Saturday, January 21st, to compete against Limestone College. EC was victorious, defeating Limestone 105-99, in a meet that came down to the last relay.

Head Coach, Allen Gilchrest commented; "This is the first time our men have defeated Limestone in dual meet competition, so we are really happy with the results! We knew it would be a close meet and it was. The score went back and forth all afternoon, but our guys keep giving their best. With 2 events to go, our 100 breast guys really stepped up and went 2-3-4 for huge points. Going into the last relay we needed to finish 2nd to secure the meet, and we did! Our Seniors have been working hard to win this meet every year, they swam really hard and I am especially happy for them and thankful to God as He continues to bless our teams this season."
