Men and Women's Swimming Earn Fall 2018 CSCAA Scholar All-America Awards

Colorado Springs, CO - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has selected a record 713 teams from 460 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2018 semester. 

Among all NCAA Division II honorees, the Emmanuel College women's swim team ranked #2 with an impressive team GPA of 3.71. Taking the #1 spot was Biola University with a 3.72 team GPA.

The Emmanuel men's swim team were also named to the list of Scholar All-America Teams with a team GPA of 3.06.

The Lions academic performance puts them at the top of Conference Carolinas performers, alongside Chowan University who also saw both teams earn a spot on the list.

The teams were selected by the CSCAA's Scholar All-America committee on the basis of their Fall grade point averages and represent 16,502 student-athletes. To earn the honor, teams were required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the Fall Semester and maintain a roster of 12 or more student-athletes.
