"It was a decent start for the first meet back after winter break," said Head Coach Chyna Davis. "Since we were only able to get one full week of training as a team it was nice to see that we were picking up where we left off at. We still have some fine tuning to do, but I think next week's meet at South Carolina will be even better. Runner of the meets were Alisha Wright and Sulaimane Bangura, while field event athlete of the meet goes to Ackeem West."
Next up, the lions will be taking a small group of athletes to compete at the Gamecock Inaugural hosted by the University of South Carolina.
