Men’s Volleyball Falls to Coker College

Hartsville, SC – After a recent win against Limestone College, the Lions hoped to carry on their 4 game win streak against the Coker Cobras, but were unable to do so after falling in three sets.

The Lions weren't able to shut down two of the Cobras strongest hitters, resulting in a misbalance between the offenses, with Coker's 38 kills compared to Emmanuel's 24. With set 1 being the closest set for the Lions, they fell short by two points. Coker was able to rally through the next two sets to claim the match at 25-23, 25-14, 25-15.

The Lions were led by Alex Barbosa with 12 kills.

This loss puts the Lions overall record at 8-10 and conference record at 5-9. The Lions next match will be away against North Greenville on Tuesday, March 22nd. The Lions were previously defeated by the Crusaders 3-1. The First serve is set for 7:00pm.
