EC Men's Volleyball inks two for the 2016-17 season!

Franklin Springs, GA - Emmanuel College Men's Volleyball Head Coach Chad Nelson is pleased to announce the addition of two more recruits for the 2017 season.

Zach Huelsman from Kathleen Georgia will join the Lions in 2017.  Zach graduated from Houston County High School and played club volleyball at Central Georgia Volleyball Academy.  The 6'2" Huelsman primarily played middle for CGVA but will most likely look to add depth to all hitting positions for the Lions next season.  Coach Nelson describes Zach has having a huge up side and tremendous athletic ability.  He jumps extremely well and when you add that to his fast arm swing the Lions are proud to have him as a part of our program.

Don Thompson from Haiku, Hawaii is a graduate of King Kekaulike High School.  Don played for Hawaii Elite Volleyball Club in Hawaii.  We are so excited that Don chose EC as his home for the next four years.  A dominate 6'5" middle blocker is just what the Lions were looking for after losing both starting middles to graduation last season.  Don is poised and ready to jump right into the fire next season, Coach Nelson explains, his drive and athleticism will help take this program to the next level for years to come.

Emmanuel College Men's Volleyball has signed a total of 5 players so far for the 2017 season and are still looking to add 3-5 more to the roster before the season begins on Jan 6th.
