Men's Volleyball Falls to Conference Foe Limestone

GAFFNEY, S.C. - After coming fresh off a conference win, The Emmanuel College Men's Volleyball Team took on conference foe Limestone for the second time this season. In their first meet up, the Lions defeated the Saints in 5 sets. This time, Emmanuel couldn't keep up and was swept in three.

With a final score of 25-20, 25-13, 25-22, the Saints showed no sign of slowing down during their run to the finish. In the first set, Emmanuel had a hitting percentage of .080 and couldn't keep up with Limestone offensively. In the second set, Limestone allowed Emmanuel only 5 kills while they dominated on the net with an impressive .400 hitting percentage. The third and final set saw Emmanuel's best effort, but the Lions couldn't contend. After an hour of play, the Saints walked away with the victory to bring Emmanuel's conference record to 3-5.

Next up for the Lions is Lees-McRae on Friday in Banner Elk, NC.
