Franklin Springs, GA - This weeks athlete of the week goes to Men's Swimming (Adrian Aleksandrowicz) and Women's Bowling (Destiny Harper).
Adrian Aleksandrowicz finished 1st in 3 events in a quad meet vs. Bethel, Campbellsville, and Point University on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016. Adrian has a 23.65 lead off 50 back in the 200 medley relay, men's team finished 1st in 1:41.61 with Adrian's help. He also had a 20.86 in the 50 free (currently the #1 50 free in the country NCAA Div. II according to Colleswimming.com), 52.11 in the 100 back (currently the #8 100 back in the country NCAA Div. II according to Collegswimming.com). The men's team went on to defeat all 3 teams and finishing 1st in 10 out of 11 events.
Last weekend Destiny Harper earned "2" all-tournament team awards. She finished 1st overall in the Louisville Classic and 2nd overall in the Kentucky Team Classic. She help lead the Lady Lions to two 2nd place finishes in each tournament which consisted of 15 Collegiate teams and over 100 female collegiate bowlers. The EC women's Collegiate Bowling team had a team match play record of 13-3 for the two tournaments, and are now 21-5, .807% in match's this season.
