Bowling Teams Have Good Showing at Brunswick Southern Collegiate Classic.

MARIETTA, Ga. - The Emmanuel College Bowling Team competed in their first tier 1 competition of the season at the Brunswick Southern Collegiate Classic.

The women had a 4th place finish while the men were given credit for 15th.

A top 5 finish out of the 25 team field for the ladies matches the highest finish Emmanuel has ever had in this major event. Chelsea Lein lead the women with a 185 average while 3 other EC ladies finished in the top 25 of the 160 women who bowled in the event.

The Emmanuel Men finished strong each day after a couple of slow starts. The men began Saturdays tournament with no returning starters on the roster from last years team. After a slow start, Freshman David Hooper's 279 game would inspire the nearly all freshman team to make a push towards the end. David Hooper and Steven Faulkner would lead the men with a 204 and 198 average to finish in 15th out of 39 teams.

The team will travel to Tallahassee, Fl on December 2nd to compete at the FSU Seminole Classic.
