Women's Golf Compete in NCCAA Nationals

Panama City Beach, FL – The Emmanuel Women's golf team traveled to Panama City Beach Florida this past week to compete in the NCCAA Women's Golf Championship. The Lady Lions played their hearts out and ended up placing fifth out of nine teams in this conference tournament. On October 24th, the first day of the tournament, the ladies finished the day with a score of 341. On October 25th, the second day of the tournament, the Lady Lions finished the day with a score of 345. And on October 26th, the last day of the tournament, the Lady Lions finished the day with a score of 350, wrapping up the three-day tournament with an overall score of 1036.    

Leading her team in the final standings, Ryann McCuiston placed 12th overall and finished the three-day tournament with a score of 250. Not far behind her was Samantha Metzger who tied for 17th place in the final standings. Samantha finished the three-day tournament with an overall score of 257. Wrapping up the top three scores for the Lady Lions was Cierra Hoyle who came in 24th place with an overall score of 262. Congratulations to the Lady Lions for their impressive placement in the final standings and for their awesome individual and team scores!
The Emmanuel Women's Golf team will return to the course one last time on October 31st at the Samford Intercollegiate.
