Men's Wrestling Has Seven Place in Top Four at King Open

BRISTOL, TN. - This past weekend the Emmanuel College Men's Wrestling team competed at the King Open, hosted by King University. 

The Lions had seven wrestlers place in the top four at the tournament. In the 133-pound weight class, Junior Emery Cline placed third while Dyaln Carlile finished fourth. Freshmen Dalton Flint finished second in the 141-pound weight class. In the 157 pound weight class, Jay Sheppard ended the day with a third place finish and freshmen Chandler Saine took fourth. Lastly, in the 197-pound weight class, Jermel Lewis took second and Richard Walker took fourth

The men's wrestling team looks to have the same success next weekend at their home tournament. The Georgia Open is set to kick off on Saturday Nov.19th at 9:00am.
