Women's Soccer Drops First Match in NCCAA National Tournament

KISSIMMEE, FL. - The #7 ranked Emmanuel College Women's Soccer team kicked off their first match of the NCCAA National Tournament with a game against #3 ranked Biola University. In the Lions first ever NCCAA National Tournament debut, Emmanuel fell short 0-3. 

Biola put up an impressive offense with their first goal coming just 1 minute and 32 seconds into the game. Biola followed up with another goal in the 1st period and didn't allow the Lions to take any shots on goal. The second period wasn't much different as the higher ranked Eagles once again controlled the offense and scored their third goal with under 4 minutes left in the game. Biola took the victory 3-0.

Goal Keeper Marina Eisenhut (#1) had 8 saves for the Lions.

The ladies play their next match Tomorrow Tuesday, Nov 28th at 6:00pm. The Lions will face the #4 ranked Trinity International University to fight for a spot in the semi-finals.
