Lee Named Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week!

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Emmanuel College forward Lindsay Lee has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 1-7, the Conference announced today. This marks her first POTW award of the season and the second for Emmanuel.

Lee, a sophomore from Lawrenceville, Ga., paced Emmanuel to a 1-0-1 record last week after tallying six points on two goals and two assists. In a 7-4 win over Southern Wesleyan, Lee would score two goals and dish two assists. Emmanuel would play to a 0-0 tie between Barton, Lee took nine shots in the contest.

Lee currently ranks third in Conference Carolinas in points (19), while ranking fifth in both goals (7) and assists (5).

Morgan Patton (Belmont Abbey) - Four points on two goals in two matches.
Sofia Lundkvist (Limestone) - Four points on two goals in one match. 
Alexis Feely (Lees-McRae) - Eight saves in one match. 
Kaylee Larson (Mount Olive) - Two points on two assists in two matches.
