Franklin Springs, GA – The Emmanuel Lions Tennis Team hosted #35 University of North Georgia in a NCAA Regional Match.
The Lady Lions were looking for their first Dual Match win after traveling to the ITA Southeast Regional Tournament last week. The home team fought hard but the hawks proved to be synced this afternoon. The doubles team composed by Fantine Botella and Chloe O'Connor almost grabbed a win after coming back from a 6-1, dropping their match by 8-6. In singles play Pearllan Cipriano and Chloe O'Connor fought very hard but UNG was stronger during the tie-breaks.

The EC Lady Lions will not take a break this week since they are traveling Friday to Lawrenceville, GA to play at the Grizzly Open, hosted by Georgia Gwinnett College.
