Lions drop close battle to Mars Hill
Mars Hill, NC – The Emmanuel College Women's Tennis Team traveled to Mars Hill University this Thursday for another NCAA Regional Match. After several hours of competitive tennis, the home squad took the last point to snag a tight win in the very last match that was only decided in a third set super tie-breaker.

Emmanuel started strong with a pair of wins in doubles play with wins at #1 Fantine Botella/Chloe O'Connor and also #3 Abi Muesse/Pearllan Cipriano. The Lady Lions also started singles play with a pair of wins from the top seeds Fantine Botella and Pearllan Cipriano.

The Lady Lions will take a break this weekend, but they will be back in action for another NCAA Regional Match. Emmanuel will travel to Newberry for their last match of the Fall Season on October 28th. First serve is scheduled for 2PM.
