North Georgia led Emmanuel by 11 points with under five minutes remaining in the half before a three-pointer from Freshman Michael Wright would start a run for the Lions. Emmanuel rallied behind six more points from Senior Austin Green combined with a solid team performance to close the gap to 39-38 by halftime.

In the second half, Senior Kendrick Colvin would grab a short lived lead for Emmanuel with a successful layup. North Georgia's offense took over from there, led by Hopkins 17 points in the second half.
