Lions Suffer Tough Loss to Young Harris

YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The Emmanuel College Men's Lacrosse team traveled to Young Harris, Ga to face the Young Harris Mountain Lions on February 25th.

Young Harris started the game strong with two unanswered goals. Garrison Stone finally answered back on their third goal making the score 3-1. Young Harris scored one more in the quarter to end it with a score of 4-1, YH.

The lions fell silent in the second and third quarter. The mountain lions scored five unanswered goals in the second quarter bringing the score to 9-1 going into half time.

The second half began, and the mountain lions went on an eight-goal spree to end the third quarter with a score of 17-1.

Young Harris started the scoring in the fourth quarter with 4 goals. Emmanuel's Cam Free scored an unassisted goal to put a point on the board. Young Harris scored one more to make the final score of the game 22-2, Young Harris.

The lions ended the game with 14 turnovers, 14 shot attempts, and 9 ground balls. The lions went 3-26 in faceoffs and had 19 saves. Ethan Brundage had 12 saves.

The Lions will take on Florida Southern on March 4th at in Lakeland, FL.
