Men Compete at Susan Rouse Invitational

CENTRAL ,S.C. - The men's team traveled to Central, South Carolina to compete at the SWU-Susan Rouse Invite.

In the 100 meter dash Michael Guinn ran a 11.43, Devin Veasley ran a PR of 11.56, and Julian Perry ran a PR of 11.87. In the 110 meter hurdles, Kameron Collier finished second with a new PR of 15.66, Demetrius finished fourth with a PR of 15.78, and Malik Jackson finished fifth with a 16.21. In the 200 meter dash, Sulaimane Bangura finished second with a 21.4, James Blakes ran a season best 22.86, and Michael Guinn ran a PR of 23.23. In the 400 meter dash, James Blake finished fifth with a PR of 50.43, while DaMonte' Ward finished sixth.  

In the 400 meter hurdles, Devin Veasley finished seventh overall in the 400 meter hurdles with a 1:03.28. The men's 4x100 meter relay broke the school record with a time of 42.83 to finish fourth overall thanks to Veasley, Guinn, Blake, and Bangura. In the 5000 meter run, Ethan Hargrove finished second with a PR of 15:53.79. In pole vaulting, Juan Soto finished third with a 13'9.25. Kameron Collier finished third with a 42'6 in triple jump. In javelin, Julian Perry threw a PR of 96'1. 

Next up, the men are set to compete at the Gamecock Invitational in Colombia, South Carolina.
