#6 Women's Soccer Heads to #3 Barton For Conference Carolinas Quarterfinal Matchup

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The field has officially been set for the 2019 Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Championship.

Undefeated and regionally-ranked Mount Olive (11-0-3, 9-0-2 Conference Carolinas) is the No. 1 seed in the 2019 Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Championship. The Trojans earned their first outright women's soccer conference championship in 2019. It was their first title in women's soccer since winning the division in 2011. 

The top four seeds in the 2019 Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Championship host quarterfinal matchups this Saturday with second-seeded Belmont Abbey hosting seventh-seeded Chowan, third-seeded Barton hosting sixth-seeded Emmanuel and fourth-seeded Limestone hosting fifth-seeded North Greenville.

The highest remaining seed after quarterfinal action will host the semifinals and finals of the 2019 Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Championship. The semifinals will be on Thursday, Nov. 14 with the championship match scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 16. To learn more about the 2019-20 Conference Carolinas Championships, please visit HERE

Quarterfinals – Saturday, November 9 (Higher Seed Hosts)

#1 Mount Olive vs. #8 Southern Wesleyan, 4 p.m.
#2 Belmont Abbey vs. #7 Chowan, 11:30 a.m. or 2 p.m. (will be known later Monday evening)
#3 Barton vs. #6 Emmanuel, 2 p.m.
#4 Limestone vs. #5 North Greenville, 2 p.m.
